YOUR HEALTHY PLATE: Three Valentine Smoothies

Any minute now you may decide that you’ve had your fill of heart-shaped butter cookies, pancakes, brownies, fudge and candy. And when that happens, you’ll be so glad for these smoothie recipes. Share the love! 

2 cups kale, rinsed well
2 whole oranges (peeled)
2 medium bananas, fresh or frozen
1 cup whole cranberries, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup fresh pineapple
1 cup water

1 frozen medium banana
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1 cup organic baby spinach, well rinsed
1/4 cup pomegranate seeds (arils)
3/4 cup coconut water

1 cup raw almond milk
2 frozen organic bananas
1 cup organic baby spinach, well rinsed
¼ cup raw almonds, soaked (30-60 min in warm water) if possible
¼ cup goji berries
1 tablespoon raw almond butter
1 teaspoon organic raw cacao nibs
1 teaspoon raw macadamia nuts
